Trouble Setting Up My Fabman Device - Need Some Help?

Hi everyone,

I am having some trouble with setting up my Fabman device and was hoping someone here could help me out.
I have followed the instructions provided in the manual, but I am still running into issues.

Here’s what’s happening ::-

  • Initial Setup: I connected the device to my network, but it doesn’t seem to be communicating with the Fabman cloud.
  • Error Messages: I keep getting an error message about network connectivity. My Wi-Fi is working fine for other devices.
  • Firmware Update: I tried updating the firmware, but the process seems to get stuck halfway through.

Has anyone experienced similar issues: ?? Any tips or troubleshooting steps you could share would be greatly appreciated.

I am eager to get this set up and start using it, but I am a bit stuck right now. When I searched on the forum for my query then I found this one https://forum.fabman.io/t/connecting-bridges-to-unencrypted-wi-fi-tensorflow/ but couldn’t get the solution.

I’m a bit confused. The Fabman bridge will not connect to your network if it cannot reach the Fabman servers during WiFi setup. What are you seeing on your bridge?

Again, I’m not sure what you mean. How did you try updating the firmware?
