Our makerspace will have summer season hours different from school year. Is there a way to set up book-able hours for equipment according to months in a year or a time range?
For example, if we change our hours in June-August, and users can book up to 30 days in advance, possible bookings made during the month of May might be for times when the space is actually closed in June.

unfortunately, Fabman doesn’t support different opening hours for different seasons yet.
Here’s a workaround you could try:
- Create a “Summer season package” that grants members the same permissions as your regular opening hours package but instead of “during opening hours” use “Other…” and enter you summer season opening hours:
- Cancel all members’ “opening hours” packages with May 31 as the end date, give them the summer package for June - August, and then give them another “opening hours” package starting September 1.
Depending on the number of members you have, updating each member‘s packages might be too cumbersome to do manually. But you can definitely automate it using our API.
